Well, God forbid, but I'm sure they know that should they assassinate him, Uganda will never be the same, that is for sure. Let me convince myself that, it was their usual reckless behavior of sabotaging opposition rallies that went wrong.

Breaking news

The peoples president Dr Kizza Besigye and the senior entourage have just survived death orchestrated by the Uganda police. 
This unfortate incident happened at Kapkoros subcounty. Dr Besigye , Honorable Nandala all injured , Ingrid Turinawe have all sustained injuries. Ingrid has both are legs hit.

Others reported injured include , Amin Sadik also bleeding. More local people badly injured here.This was caused by Uganda police who attempted to block the peoples president KB from addressing Ugandans who are in toriet IDP camp.

This all started when Dr Besigye was going to address people in the Toriet IDP camp when police attacked the team with live bullets and teargas.
The people in that camp had been evicted from their lands by government for forest reserve.

Amin got an injury on the head. Oh was injured on the neck by a tear gas canister. Nandala got tear gas pumped on him massively.

The scuffle came about the KB team's intentions to go and speak with the IDPs in a camp at a place called Tariyet, Bukwo district.

The IDP was created after UWA chased people from what they deemed a forest reserve way back in 1993. These people have never been decently reallocated to any place.

It was the dehumanizing condition in which they live in the camps that the FDC Presidential Candidate Dr. Kiiza Besigye wanted to see and address them about but also the same which the local authorities was very determined to protect from being exposed.

Police intercepted the campaign team's advance to the camp and their resolve to make it to the same camp met violent attacks from the police.

Live bullets, rubber bullets and massive tear gas engulfed the Besigye team. They however did not retreat. Their resolved attracted the response of the locals who joined them in their advance to the camp. They soon overwhelmed the terror police and made it to the camp.
