{UAH} Parliament, State Institutions and Self Seekers
First of Ugandans do not obey the law and this group is particurally people in power and the rich!
Jennifer Musisi, if it wasn't for Uganda politics – she would have turned Kampala City today into a very different place. With her commitment and determination to get results, she would have already transformed Kampala into a bright star.
There is too much useless politics in this country - you can't believe it. My fear is that we are in a period of gestation of a rare political radicalism – most probably a dictatorial regime, simply because nothing functions within a civil society.
Even her overtly motivated team will get tired sometime and it is not easy to have people on your side in an Africa working environment - you work but in the middle of nowhere things remain the same, or stack and even in a worse situation getting worser!
I doubt if there is anyone who will be resolute and fight all odds and evil with occasional frustration to make KCCA work apart from her. KCCA is no place for light hearted people and one must be fearless and also have God on your side. Kampala is a place where all types of crooks, ignoramus etc., are found.
I think I have to leave this country once again – I do not want to waste a lot of my time. We Africans we are in our own pathetic world.
Ugandans failing Uganda.
Cleaning the city cost this country huge amount of money. Parliament just yesterday quashed KCCA by law where people pining up posters have to pay 500 shilling per poster.
By the time KCCA come in there were posters littering the city as far as 1995 and they pilling make the city look terribly filthy.
And posters are put anywhere anyhow! Penis, buttocks enlargement and such obscenity ,
This is one of the way governance contradictions have turned people committed to their work have to relax and get to as usual situation.
In a way I can't see Uganda moving anywhere!
