SV: {UAH} WHAT CAN BE DONE TO HELP BESIGYE( A FELLOW UGANDAN)?

Very idiotic and stupid antithetical hooligans playing right in the hands of trouble.
Such behaviour should not be tolerated. If found they should face justice kabisa for attempted murder?

Over 20 huts have been set ablaze in Mbale, injuring 20, while 125 have been left homeless.

Police in Mbale are hunting for a group of suspected arsonists accused of setting over 30 grass-thatched huts ablaze in Mbale district.

The huts believed to be for ruling party National Resistance Movement supporters are found in Muvuule, Kiduda and Bubilabi cells in Namatala Ward in Industrial division in Mbale Municipality.

The arsonists are said to have struck at around 11:45pm on Wednesday night injuring over 20 people in the process. The fire also destroyed household property worth millions of shillings.

Margret Akello, one of the fire victims, says the arsonists first set six huts ablaze at Namatala trading center near Wafula Estate before they burnt eight others in Muvuule cell.

Hamza Naduli, one of the fire victims nursing injuries at Mbale hospital, suspects and believes that they were attacked by opposition activists in retaliation to Dr Kizza Besigye's loss in the recently concluded Presidential elections. Besigye has been put under house arrest since last Friday and arrested four times in the last 10 days as a preventive measure to guard against him fuelling the P10 program and their such destructive intentions.

"Ever since the presidential results were declared by Electoral Commission we [NRM supporters], have been under threat of attack from P10 [FDC election mobilisation task force] in Namatala," he said.

Since the incident, scores of Ugandans have expressed their horror at the uncontrolled extremism of supporters of FDC and the party leadership's failure to prevail over their following and call them to order. Many have been left thankful that power did not get into the hands of this group who prefer anarchy over peaceful co-existence.

Friends,
Anyone with sanity will realize that what the security agents are doing to Besigye is not normal, and part of me feels like we've all let him(a fellow Ugandan) down. This should be a matter of consensus amongst everyone, and I think we should start discussing ways on how we can help the police respect Besigye's human rights. Uganda communities abroad have a huge responsibility on their shoulders to organise protests or reach out to their MPs, Senators, UN or anybody capable of turning the screws around. Otherwise, we can't just continue just writing on social media without raising our voices on something as big as this. The sad reality - which most of the commentators on this issue ignore - is that big chunks of our elites today are sellouts who prop up oppressive regimes in Africa.
