The African Book Event at 2:30pm on Saturday 27th Feb at InSpire - the
Crypt at St Peter's, Liverpool Grove SE17 2HH London, United Kingdom.
Presenting analysis and discussion led by Dr Rogers Okot Uma and Dr
Terence Paito on the following two recently published books: "When an
Elephant Cries" written by Lacere and "Traditions and Sayings of the
Acholi of Uganda" written by Angelo Andrew Banya. The event aims to
promote literature as a way of sharing our experiences, culture and
traditions. Copies of the two books will be available to purchase,
with a substantial reduction on one of them.Art work by Santo Ocitti,
a gifted Ugandan artist, reflecting the settings for these books will
