FDC big guns frog marched out of Parliament

FDC's Jack Sabiti has been In Parliament since 2011 for Rukiga County. Sabiti has been hit by NRM's Herbert Kabafunzaki.

Many Forum for Democratic Change ( FDc) representatives in Parliament who had unbeaten records over the last two decades have been knocked out of their strongholds for the Parliamentary seats in the 2016 elections.

He was a CA delegate for Rukiga. He was an active member of Parliament's Public Accounts Committee in the eight Parliament.

Kasiano Wadri for Terego County who has been in Parliament since 2011 was out muscled by Moses Angundru of NRM.

In the 9th Parliament, Wadri was chairman Public Accounts Committee that unearthed many corruption scandals in government.

Outspoken Wadri was not in favour of splitting Terego county into two parts Terego East and Terego West.

This did not go down well with voters which has cost him Terego East, where he stood after the split.

Another powerful person in FDC, Alice Alaso who has been In Parliament since 2001 as district woman MP for Serere district was pushed out by NRM's Hellen Adoa.

She was chairman Public Accounts Committee in the 9th Parliament and a member of various committees. Also is FDC vice president for Eastern Region.

The next FDC candidate out of Parliament is Geoffrey Ekanya who has been in Parliament since 1996 for Tororo county. He was over powered by independent candidate Annet Nyakecho Okwenye.

He was shadow minister for finance in 2011, secretary general FDC in 2005 and secretary general Reform Agenda between 2001 and 2004.

Another outspoken member of FDC, Florence Ekwau Ibi who has been in Parliament since 2006 as woman representative for Kaberamaido has been thrown out.

She was shadow minister for gender in 2011. Ibi has been clobbered by Maria Goretti Ajilong.
Another candidate who joined Parliament lately, Odo Tayebwa who won a by election in 2012 for the Bushenyi Municipality seat is out.

He has been whipped by Gordon Arinda of NRM.
