{UAH} ASSISTED SUICIDE: PAUL BINNER

Did anyone watch this harrowing programme on BBC2 last night? It is
the most harrowing programme I have watched and frequently brought me
to tears as well as joy. It charts a man's harrowing journey from
being diagnosed with terminal Motor Neurone disease, given only one
year to live, and his painful, yet considered decision to end his life
and the struggle he has to go through to get his own family and
friends to accept his decision, and the final moments when he pulls
open the vial of poison to course through his veins and the 4 minutes
it takes for him to die- all graphically captured on camera. And the
dignity with which he accepted his fate and the streghth he had to go
through with his decision.
