{UAH} Fallacy of army voting against Museveni

Forum,
There has been this propaganda straight, that in the last elections many polling stations in 'army barracks' voted for opposition, or against Museveni.

First, there are never any polling stations 'inside' army barracks. The law does not allow that.

Polling stations are named after features (school, open ground etc).
For instance Gulu 'Barracks Polling station' is situated outside the main barracks and is meant for voters of Kasubi, Kanyagoga or Bardege, civilians who are more than the soldiers in the barracks. In such a place, since FDC defeated NRM in Gulu, one would expect those many civilians voting at 'Barracks' polling station to have voted for FDC or Besigye.

The same applies to many polling stations countrywide situated next to the barracks. Indeed according to my source, hardly 10 percent of UPDF soldiers voted because they were deployed to help police in keeping security during and after the polls.

I saw an 'ignorant' journalist asking President Museveni why some polling stations in 'army barracks' voted against him. This was laziness.
