{UAH} George:The issue of side issues like grammar will run off people that do belong here.
Mr.George Okello,
Every one has an opinion here and the right to post without some baiting action. The use of bravado and aggressive behavior does not belong here.
The issue of side issues like grammar will run off people that do belong here. Actually, the issue with Mr.Edward Mulindwa is not so much grammar, in so much as a lot of his posts lately are so disjointed that people have a hard time discerning exactly what it is he's trying to say. He,for instance, keeps yakking that UAH is useless but I've met a few people that are inactive on this forum but learn from his posts too. Again, it is not a personal attack to ask him to elucidate on what he's trying to say, and also try to be a bit consistent. When he does so, and his issue has merit, then he's lauded for it. If not, he's called on to defend his position.
Yes,some forumists here are so exceptional with their knowledge about things but I don't rememberer anyone indicating that they are superior to anyone. Some may be knowledgeable than others in some areas, and It all balances out. We are here, with the exception of Mr.Museveni(who knows it all), on a quest for knowledge. The old adage "Knowledge is power" has seldom had such meaning as it does here. I am ravenous for information that will make our quest to have as normal a life as possible in Uganda without any fears.
Yes,'fear' is a big factor in our politics in and out of the country. I know of a man in London who was glued to radio Simba and Daily Monitor site, and he was smiling when the presidential results started coming in. He called me excitedly that Museveni is going, and I told him,'hold your horses, man. He isnt going anywhere yet......'.....And finally his smile was wiped off of his face when Dr.Kiggundu started reading his own results. He has been in exile for over 15 years now. With Besigye winning, he thought he was finally gonna set his foot in Uganda again.
But you must realize that if you express an opinion in this forum it is open to critique. You must understand that a critique is not an attack.Expect what you say to be challenged if someone has a different opinion than what you claim. There is no pack of wild dogs. There is no conspiracy to attack or abuse anyone. We are all brothers and sisters here regardless of one's political affiliations or tribe.
