{UAH} TESO CROWD-PULLING APPEAL.

TESO Professionals Enterprise Development Organisation (TESO PEDO) is an initiative to bring together into an Organisation the current and potential Iteso professionals and Business leaders to pursue Enterprising projects and strategies pertinent to the development of Teso region, (wider Teso) Teso Communities, Families and Individuals.
We aim to work with a core of leaders, who will in turn work to manage and mentor others in Enterprise and Professional development , and by so doing developing leadership in individual sectors while working together. The objectives for 2016 are:
• Set up an OFFICE in the region to coordinate efforts
• Develop core LEADERSHIP up to 1000 business and professional leaders
• Raise a FUND for Management, Administration and Facilitation
• Develop PROJECT PIPELINE for the region, a database of projects ready for investment or needing expansion.
• Establish COLLABORATION with other institutions, Agencies and interest parties for our cause.
A plan has been discussed and agreed to put up a fund for this cause and TESO PEDO will run as a social enterprise coordinating economic activities, impacting of social and other development goals. We have therefore launched a crowd fund appeal from Iteso and friends, each contribute UGSH 100,000 ($$30 or 20GBP) to the fund to set up offices, personnel and so on.
The fund will cover:
1. Coordination and how efforts can be leveraged to build capacity in each sector and bring people of each sector and product together.
2. Initial investment into feasibility, or project development before major capital funding and in agriculture in particular we are talking value chain development to a higher capacity affecting all the region. The seven benefits listed on the page are just fruits of these efforts.
The contribution of the start up also demonstrated that people will be the CREATORS of their fate not some foreign donors or governments
Please inbox to express your interest as we are only looking for 1000 core members to work with in 2016
The broad sectors will be in:
ECONOMIC: including business, enterprise and professional development
SOCIAL: Including Cultural, Faith, and social issues
POLITICAL: Strictly non partisan but engagement political influence in our endeavours and the development of local leadership and aspiration to national and institutional involvement.
