We highly regret the purported misrepresentation that happened in the Dr. Bilal Phillips story that aired on the 23th May 2016. We have however taken steps to remedy it including taking down any material in relation to the production that may have misled the public into thinking otherwise of Dr. Bilal Phillips' personality and taking disciplinary action on the responsible parties.

We therefore write this email to formally apologize to Dr. Bilal Phillips and the Muslim community for any misrepresentation made. We further assure our viewers that we promise to uphold objective and truthfull journalism. This clip should therefore not in anyway dissuade our viewers from keeping on watching as its outcome was not intended to misguide the public.

We regret any inconveniences caused by the airing of this story.
