Ambassador Ikanos/ Frank Mujabi,

Was Dr Stella Nyanzi aware of the full consequences of her nude
protest?  As she has failed to really convince anyone that her protest
was a "political protest" or a "feminist protest, don't you see she
may now be regarded as a person of questionable moral character who
may engage in Vulgarity and Obscenity?

I also think that the Home Office suspects she may claim political
asylum in the UK if allowed to enter.

The tactics we choose in political protests should always be very
carefully calculated. Nudity and Vulgarity  are powerful tools of
protest, sit on a very fine line of either succeeding or blowing up
your face.

This reputation is going to accompany Dr Nyanzi everywhere else she
goes and it is her future empoyment propects I really worry about.

Why Dr Stella Nyanzi was Denied UK Visa
by : Shamim KawalhaJune 15, 2016

Suspended Makerere University Don, Dr. Stella Nyanzi  is one person
who can clearly explain now that everything you do has a consequence.

After being suspended for misconduct from the Institute of Social
Research in Makerere University a few weeks ago, the mother of three
who was supposed to travel to the United Kingdom for a conference has
been denied visa.

According to the letter issued by the UK visa officer, the researcher
was a subject of disciplinary action for gross misconduct and
insubordination from the university and for that reason, her visa
application could not be accepted.

The letter from the UK visa office
"I am not satisfied as to your intentions in wishing to travel to the
UK now. I am not satisfied that you genuinely intend a short visit
only to the UK and that you will leave the UK at the end of the
visit," he said in the letter.

However Dr. Stella Nyanzi still thinks these reasons are not genuine
and doesn't regret staying back in the country inspite of the fact
that she was denied the chance to share her research knowledge in the
Queen's land.
