{UAH} NRM what/why is 15% - 24% interest rates?

By 2007 almost every week, commericial Banks in Sweden were offering loans at 0.01 percent. I did not need collateral to get the money.

Mwami Ssemuwemba what does UK Barclays offer in interest rates?

Swedish economy at that time was sluggish implying taking on a loan was all risk full – the market was saturated with all type of goods.

In the same period a developing country Uganda that has virtually no economy at all had interest rate raging between 24 – 29%!

How exactly do you develop a country at those interest rates?! And the government does not care at all – it is business as usual YET some banks like DFCU get money they borrow to Ugandans at those fantastic rates from Europe!
