{UAH} PROF.KIYIMBA IS A GOOD MAN---- RONALD MUHINDA

'I have testimony about PROF. ABBAS KIYIMBA. I am told he is seriously sick and needs over 250m for a liver transplant. God bless him. This exceptional man was once acting as Head of Examinations in the Faculty of Arts at MUK. I was paying my own fees so I had trouble raising tuition. Everyone who has gone through MUK will testify that its a very complex institution. I had missed my first end of year exam so I decided to go to his office and face him. I told him my problem and I imagine he understood it. He told me "I will help you as long as I am here". He signed a pass authorising me to seat all remaining examinations. Year one was done. Unfortunately Prof. Baryamureeba fired him and replaced him with a woman called Mercy Mirembe Ntangaare, if I recall well. Mercy was a typical Makerere administrator. I approached her with a same problem but she could not take my pleas. I had missed two end of year exams and I decided to invade her office and refused to get out until I got a pass. The third exam was going on. She still refused. I decided to call Prof Kiyimba while in her office and I talked to him. Of course he wasn't remembering me. He told me he will call Mercy on her phone. He did immediately and told Mercy to get me a pass. Kiyimba told her he had helped me and I had met my obligations. Mercy gave me a pass but I had missed three papers.

Kiyimba is now sick and need financial help. Truth is if I was able, I would have paid his medical bills. Fully pay as a way of paying him back for his generosity. I am not able. In fact I can do nothing for him. But even if its 1,000shs, I will give it to him so that he can have his life back. Kiyimba is an exceedingly good man and I know he has helped many more souls. I will contribute and if you can, please contribute to Prof Abbas Kiyimba to regain his life.'
