{UAH} Why I Simply don't believe in any religion or God for that matter

  Not that religion doesn't have some  obvious benefits,  but if you do your research (like especially how tolerant the Bible seems to be about slavery or how many people God directly killed)  and apply just a little bit of common sense you realize that this stuff can't be true.  These writings are primitive and outdated explanations for a complicated world (which we now understand much better)  that was also used as a control over the people.  How could the Bible be the morality code of an omniscient being? God repeatedly either personally killed or commanded the killing of innocent women, children, and babies and animals (2 Samuel 12:11-18 and Joshua 10:29-42 and Joshua 11:10-20 and 2Kings 2:23-24 and Deut 3:3-7) and there's passages in this book that tolerate and regulate slavery (For example Ephesians 6:5 and 1 Timothy 6: 1-2 and Luke 12:47-48 and Exodous 21: 2-6 and Exodous 21: 20-21)  HUH?
