The Arabs say "Moburuk....!" Which is congratulations for a job well done. But you shouldn't worry about the young man feeling the heat of travelling to lands unknown far from the caring eyes of his parents. The one thing I know is that he is enjoying staying far away from your watchful and prying eyes. Lol. You know what I mean.
Over time you will get used to his travels and regardless of which form of journalism or fieldwork he undertakes there are assorted risks but a boy gotta be a man some day - and he has already proved his manhood, ie independence.
All the same, I wish him all the best. Give him a bear hug and a thumbing pat on the back when he returns.
