{UAH} RESPONSE TO KALANZI: DEMOCRATIC PARTY AND REPUBLICAN PARTY IGNORE HEALTHCARE FOR BLACKS

Mr Kalanzi,
black people's healthcare needs are different from the needs of other races.  I'll give you a few examples:
1. the more money you have, the better healthcare coverage you can get. Most black people are poor.
2. the best cheap coverage is from employers.  Most black people are unemployed or are employed in low wage jobs that do not offer health benefits.
3. Southern states have the worst coverage, especially for poor poor people. Most blacks live in southern states.
4. etc
But my views are aimed at Ugandan Americans/blacks.  I am not addressing the needs of native americans, latinos, etc.  I don't know much about their situation and I don't think we have many of them on these forums (unaanet, unaalist and UAH).
thanks

Mr Nekyon,
See below...I explained why I think black people's healthcare needs are not addressed by both parties. The key word is "significantly".   I know you might bring up Obamacare but I'll deal with its impact on blacks in another post.  In the meantime, keep in mind most blacks qualify for state insurance because they are earn so little...so Obamacare has much less impact on them.
thanks
