{UAH} Pope Francis to visit Sweden this Monday and Tuesday

Starting this Monday morning ( 31/10/2016 ) Pope Francis will begin a two-day
official visit of Sweden. The occasion is to join in the commemoration
of the 500 years of the Protestant Reformation led by Martin Luther. The
event is organized by the World Lutheran Federation whose President is
proud of the fruit of this intense ecumenical dialogue that has been going
on for 50 years between Catholics and Lutherans. And the Pope looks moved by
the invitation for which he requested the assembled 100,000 pilgrims in St Peter's
Square for the Sunday mid-day  Angelus prayer to pray for him for the success of the visit. Today Monday the Pope will arrive at Lund Airport where he will be
welcomed by the Swedish Prime Minister. Then he will be driven to the Royal Palace at Lund to greet the Royal Family. Later in the day he will attend an ecumenical service
at the Lutheran Cathedral (in Lund ) and other ecumenical events both at Lund and Malmö before meeting the country's Roman Catholics.
Tomorrow, Tuesday ( 01/11/2016 ), the All Saints Day on the Catholic Church calender the Pope will celebrate Holy Mass in Lund before leaving for Rome.
Sweden has had a special affection to this Pope and many Swedish pilgrims of various faiths always come to Rome to visit the Pope.
