Ugandan dies on Dubai plane en route to Entebbe

Zaina Nagani, 23, passed away as she was boarding a plane back to Uganda.

A Ugandan working in Abu Dhabi collapsed and died on Thursday last week, at Dubai Airport aboard a plane to Uganda.

Zaina Nagani, 23, who hails from Namataala Village in Mbale district according to her passport, passed away as she was boarding a plane back to Uganda.

Nagani had worked as a house help in Abu Dhabi for two years.

"She collapsed and died at Terminal 2 aboard Fly Dubai," Moses Kabogoza, a Ugandan Embassy worker in Abu Dhabi said in a WhatsApp audio.

He explained that the body is in Dubai Hospital mortuary and after one month without anyone claiming it, it will be buried at Jebrir Cemetery in Dubai.
