{UAH} UK convention wasn't funded by the government?

Mr. Willy Nsubuga Mutenza says that Besigye was misinformed as the Uganda government never funded the UK convention:

"We told the government to support us by exhibiting it's various institution but not to buy into us as a partner. They tried every year but we say no. I can't see myself being controlled by Moses Byaruhanga and the like."
