Subject: MERRY CHRISTMAS
Dear Community Members
It’s hard to believe, how time flies, and its already time to say Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. What a year, 2016 has been for us as a community. This was truly a year of many accomplishments; our community drew closer together, more youth members became involved with charity. Also, there were many calendar activities that decorated 2016 in our individual and community lives notably; the youth events, the Mothers/Father’s days, the Summer Fun Day, the AGM, many Weddings and Marriages. There were also many WhatsApp appeals, generously supported as per our usual customs and spirit of family hood and shared values.
So, as we enjoy our Turkeys, Chocolates, and exchange pleasantries to celebrate Christmas this year, we hope you will continue to spend time not only with the family and friends, but also the community. Let us also continue to reflect and count our blessings. The greatest gift we can exchange this season is the gift of service. As we continue to serve one another, let’s not forget our neighbours, especially the sick, the elderly, those who live alone and those in distress both here and abroad. Our special prayer goes to those who are sick at home or in the hospital, wishing them a speedy recovery. We shall hope, 2017 will be a year for Youths and Elders, and wish that the Lord empowers them to take centre stage in our community.
As we await and look positively in anticipation of another every great year ahead (2017), may this Holiday season sparkle and shine , may your Dreams and Wishes come true and May you feel this happiness all year around, 2017.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
Apwoyo,
