Whether the kid staged it or not is of secondary importance. The salient question is why airliners continue to accommodate the comforts and fears of racists over victims who speak Arabic, wear a beard, don a headscarf, or are merely just being onboard a flight?

The frequent ejections of Arabs, Muslims, and minorities endorses the racism of bigots, and emboldens white entitlement by giving in to whims, no matter how irrational, confirming the message that anybody that compromises their comfort is removable.

That isn't staged.
