If not, allow images or view online Home Plan journey Status update Visiting London Dear Mr Okelld, Here is our weekly travel update to help you get around London from today, Thursday 13 until Monday 17 April. Please check if any of the following affect you. Easter travel information Planned improvement work is taking place on the Tube and rail networks until Monday 17 April. An alternative way to get around London this Easter is via our extensive bus network. For more information, please visit tfl.gov.uk/easter-travel or nationalrail.co.uk/easter London Underground Circle line From Friday to Monday, there will be no service between Hammersmith and Edgware Road while we test new signalling. A circular service will operate Edgware Road – Aldgate – Edgware Road. District line From Friday to Monday, trains will not run between Aldgate East and West Ham. This is to allow us to test new signalling, as well as Crossrail construction work at Whitechapel. Hammersmith & City line From Friday to Monday, there will be no service between Liverpool Street and Barking while we test new signalling as well as Crossrail construction work at Whitechapel. Metropolitan line From Friday to Monday, trains will not run between Wembley Park and Northwood/Uxbridge. This is to allow us to replace track and points at Harrow-on-the-Hill. Extra trains will run on the Piccadilly line between Rayners Lane and Uxbridge to provide a 10 minute service. Please note that there will be no Chiltern Railways service between Marylebone and Amersham until approximately 12:30 on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and all day on Monday. Victoria line On Sunday and Monday, trains will not run on the entire line. This is to allow upgrade work which will enable the introduction of 36 trains per hour in peak periods from late May. For the last Night Tube trains on Sunday, please start your southbound Victoria line journey by 02:30 and your northbound journey by 03:00. For the latest status update on London Underground, including a map of closures, please click here London Overground From Friday to Monday, there will be no service between the following stations:   • Romford and Upminster, due to Crossrail construction work and Network Rail infrastructure work   • Camden Road and Stratford due to bridge replacement work at Highbury Corner and Network Rail station work at Hackney Wick   On Friday and Saturday, trains will not call at Whitechapel due to Crossrail construction work.   On Sunday and Monday there will be no service between the following stations due to Crossrail construction work:   • Highbury & Islington and Shadwell   • Surrey Quays and New Cross   To see the latest London Overground timetables, please click here DLR From Friday to Monday, there will be no service between Bow Church and Stratford. This is for Crossrail construction work at Pudding Mill Lane. London Trams Trams are not running between East Croydon and Reeves Corner. In addition, there is also no service from Elmers End after 19:30 on weekdays, after 18:30 on Saturday and on Good Friday, and all day on Sunday and on Easter Monday. Services will resume on Tuesday. TfL Rail From Friday to Monday, trains will not run on the entire line. This is while Network Rail carry out track and station improvements as part of their Railway Upgrade Plan, as well as Crossrail construction work. There is no service between Brentwood and Shenfield until later next month. This is while Network Rail carry out major work at Shenfield to upgrade tracks, signalling and overhead lines. While we will try to maintain a good service, buses may be delayed or stop short of their normal destination: Borough - From 05:00 tomorrow, Friday, until 05:00 on Tuesday, St Thomas Street is closed in both directions at the junction with Borough High Street. This is for a crane operation. Westminster - From 11:30 until 14:00 tomorrow, Friday, there will be delays to traffic on Storey's Gate, Victoria Street and around Westminster Abbey. This is for a procession. City of London - From 22:00 on Saturday until 06:00 on Sunday, Fleet Street will be closed in both directions between Fetter Lane and Chancery Lane. This is for a ceremonial event. Islington - From 20:00 on Monday until June, Essex Road will be closed northbound, which will affect routes 38, 56, 73, 341, 476, N38 and N73. There will also be southbound lane closures on Upper Street. This is for utility works. Westminster - From Tuesday until early next year, various lane closures and temporary traffic signals will be in place on Westminster Bridge South at the junctions of York Road, Westminster Bridge Road and Lambeth Palace Road. This is for improvement works.
