Please check if any of the following affect you. Easter travel information Planned improvement work is taking place on the Tube and rail networks until Monday 17 April. An alternative way to get around London this Easter is via our extensive bus network. A circular service will operate Edgware Road – Aldgate – Edgware Road. | | | | | | | From Friday to Monday, trains will not run between Aldgate East and West Ham. This is to allow us to test new signalling, as well as Crossrail construction work at Whitechapel. | | | | | | | From Friday to Monday, there will be no service between Liverpool Street and Barking while we test new signalling as well as Crossrail construction work at Whitechapel. | | | | | | | From Friday to Monday, trains will not run between Wembley Park and Northwood/Uxbridge. This is to allow us to replace track and points at Harrow-on-the-Hill. Extra trains will run on the Piccadilly line between Rayners Lane and Uxbridge to provide a 10 minute service. This is for a crane operation. Westminster - From 11:30 until 14:00 tomorrow, Friday, there will be delays to traffic on Storey's Gate, Victoria Street and around Westminster Abbey. This is for a procession. City of London - From 22:00 on Saturday until 06:00 on Sunday, Fleet Street will be closed in both directions between Fetter Lane and Chancery Lane. This is for a ceremonial event. Islington - From 20:00 on Monday until June, Essex Road will be closed northbound, which will affect routes 38, 56, 73, 341, 476, N38 and N73. There will also be southbound lane closures on Upper Street. This is for utility works.
