{UAH} Kenyan couple shines at Paris Marathon

The annual international Paris Marathon has just ended a few hours ago, today Sunday
(09/04/2017). a million people poured on the streets to cheer the 57,000 competitors who
included, among them, several elderly runners aged between 70 and 90. The event was
also relayed direct on TV, radio and other social medias. It was generally the Kenyans who
outclassed the entire lot. A married Kenyan couple took both the men's and women's first
slots. And on the men's side the first three competitors were from Kenya. Paul Langayata (24)
won the men's event in 2hrs 6mins 10secs, a record for the Paris Marathon event. And his wife, Purity Rionoripo, took the women's crown in 2hrs 20 mins 55secs, a new record for the women's Paris event. Other African runners also did well and posted good times. But the far-experienced Kenbyans were far ahead of the rest.
