{UAH} The Patience of Fear

A bull, pursued by a lion, fled into a cave inhabited by some wild goats, which began to butt him with their horns. 'it's not because I am afraid of you,' he said, 'that I put up with this, but because I am afraid of the beast standing outside.'

Through fear of someone stronger, people will take the attacks of weaker men lying down.
