{UAH} PRESIDENT MUSEVENI TO CONSTRUCT MAYOMBO MEMORIAL S.S AND BISHOP BALYA MEMORIAL POLYTECHNIC.

President Museveni has directed the inclusion of Ugx. 700M in the next financial year for the construction of late Noble Mayombo memorial secondary school in Kabarole district.

By the time of his death Brigadier Mayombo was Permanent Secretary ministry of defence. Mayombo also worked as an aide decamp to the President and Director of military intelligence. At the time of his burial, the President pledged to put up something in memory of his brilliant officer.

In another development, the President has directed the inclusion of Ugx 200M for the construction of a polytechnic in memory of the Late Bishop Baalya.

Bishop Balya was the first black Anglican Bishop in East and Central Africa. He is father to Bridgadier Ronnie Balya former Director General of Internal Security Organisation. He is now Uganda's envoy to Juba.
