{UAH} I will Harshly Deal with Boda-Boda Warring Factions — Museveni

President Museveni has revealed that he will deal with Boda-Boda factions that are causing insecurity in Kampala.

The president said this while launching the Kkubiri Furniture Makers Development Initiative in Kampala today.

"I heard of Boda-Boda skirmishes in Nateete, we shall deal harshly with whoever causes insecurity," warned Museveni.

"I warn those who cause chaos, you know my things. You cause chaos, I unleash teargas."

The fighting started when Boda-Boda 2010 Association led by Mr Abdul Kitata allegedly attacked members of Century Rider's Association at their offices in Wakaliga where they were having a meeting.

Kampala Minister condemned the acts while at Makerere University Primary School.

"The country was in shock after the bloodshed that happened in Natete. People are slaughtering each other with machetes. I request the president to intervene in this issue."
