The MP for Ruhinda county Mitooma district; Capt.Donozio Kahonda has repeatedly asserted that Maj.Gen.Kahinda Otafiire who is the current minister of justice and constitutional affairs forged academic papers to join Makerere University.
After his release from prison while at Luwero magistrate's court on Tuesday of August1, 2017 Kahonda turned agaist Maj.Gen.Kahinda Otafiire calling him a person who never went to school.
In an exclusive telephone interview with www.mknewslink.com editor today August 3, 2017, Capt.Kahonda disclosed that Maj.Gen.Kahinda Otafiire was dismissed from Kitabi seminary when he was in S.2 and later picked academic papers of another person in names of Dominic Otafiire which he used to join Makere University.
Kahonda says when Kahinda was at Kitabi seminary his real names were Saverino Kahinda but later when he joined Makere University he started using names of Kahinda Otafiire.
When asked if he will take Maj.Kahinda to court over the same matter, Capt.Kahonda replied "I was elected to represent people and foster development in Ruhinda constituency but not to go to court over non developmental issues"
"I have seen other ministers revealing CVs but Maj.Kahinda can't tell public the level of education he had before he joined Makerere University" Kahonda asserted.
When the www.mknewslink.com contacted Minister Kahinda Otafiire on telephone, he accepted that he was dismissed from Kitabi seminary but insisted that he never forged the academic papers as it is alleged.
He dared Capt.Kahonda to take him to court if he has evidence to support his allegations.
Maj.Gen.Kahinda Otafiire who could not explain how he came to be Kahinada Otafiire and yet he was Saverino Kahinda, he threatened to sue Kahonda if the latter continues blackmailing him
