Michael Ocaya p'Ocure,

Here is some new year cheer for you- Benga music is still alive and kicking. It is even making a comeback as being witnessed in Kenya. So you were a bit too hasty in your conclusion that kwasa-kwasa, soukous and the new trends is African music and dance have overtaken what you used to know in the ancient times. If Benga can fight its corner, so can Jaluo music,  all of the old genres that you patronized, such as rhumba. Life goes in circles, Mr Ocaya p'Ocure, so never despair.
