{UAH} NRM WINS ROUND ONE, DEBATE COMMENCES TUSDAY MORNING

Government side has won round one in the ongoing constitutional
amendment exercise battles, and tomorrow morning 10.00 am,. debate
shall commence.
According to Speaker, Rebecca Alitwala Kadaga, by Wedesday, they would
be three by debate. That means that parliament will pronounce itself
on the amendment either on Wednesday or will not go beyond Thursday.
Both sides have reasoned well, those for the amendment and those,
against, and they are on a comprehensive constitutional review
commission.
However, the Government side has numbers and that is its additional advantage.
The speaker has restrained herself for not being obsessed with government side.
But each side accuses the other of taking bribes. That is at an
individual level.
