Bugembe Cathedral Church of Uganda congregation in Jinja District on Monday 25th December 2017  reportedly walked out of church and booed when the area Member of Parliament , Butembe , Nelson Lufafa was called to address the congregation to  deliver his Christmas message.

According to Jeff our correspondent in Bugembe , prayers were going on well but when the church Reverend  called upon  Mr Lufafa to address the  worshipers many decided to  walk out and booed him  accusing him of misrepresenting their views in Parliament during the age limit bill debate.

Among those that booed the area MP Mr Lufafa , Betty said as women and voters their MP had sold his constituents in Parliament by voting for yes for the age limit bill , this is not why we voted this man .

Betty added that they were ready to mobilise their fellow voters to protest over the actions of their Member of Parliament.

It should be remembered that during age limit consultations, voters vandalized Mr Lufafa's vehicle accusing him of being on the 'wrong side.' they stoned his vehicle.
