{UAH} : MASS BURIAL OF BENUE VICTIMS OF MUSLIM GENOCIDE- 10 HOURS AGO.
I switched off my camera. Fell to the ground, and started crying.
IBB Square, Makurdi.
I am attending the burial ceremony of victims killed by herdsmen.
"We've dug about 70 graves in Adeke village where they will be buried, when done with the ceremony here," the young man behind me says, with a teary voice. Indifferent, this heart of mine.
I look around, hundreds of women crying, awaiting the dead bodies. Again, this heart of mine stays indifferent.
Within the minutes, a wailing ambulance ushers about five coffin-loaded trucks into the square. I brought out my phone, with camera on standby.
20 coffins, I can count on the first truck that drives past. Another 20 coffins on the second truck.
On the third truck, I am seeing small size coffins, of children killed.
That moment, my heart sank into my stomach. And, that was when I switched off my camera. Fell to the ground, and started crying.
