{UAH} ETUKURI DETENTION: State House Spy Reveals Shocking Details On New Vision Journalist’s Arrest

Former state house spy Charles Rwomushana has revealed that president Yoweri Museveni the Commander in Chief of the armed forces grilled New Vision journalist Charles Etukuri to vomit Gen. Kale Kayihura's security secrets.

While speaking on 'Gasimbagane ne bannamawulire', on Radio Simba, Rwomushana revealed that president Yoweri Museveni must be the one who is behind the arrest of Etukuri over the deadly security story published in the New Vision.

"The big man must be the one behind Etukuri's arrest. He is very sure that he must be also among the security gang especially in police who have been always sabotaging nation security," Rwomushana said.

He noted that Museveni was briefed by security operatives that its Kayihura who gave Etukuri security stories to sabotage national security.

"You know New Vision might not be aware of Etukuri's motive to write those security stories. But he was used by Kayihura to expose other security agencies. The other time I show him write about the arrest of North Korea ambassador in Uganda at Entebbe airport, saying he first refused his car to be checked because he was carrying certain ammunitions. This story humiliated president Museveni. You know very well his friendship with North Korea," Rwomushana said.

Rwomushana said that Museveni is very scared that there must be certain security officers who are spying for foreign countries, that's why he was very bitter at his country home in Kawumu, Luweero District and warned that whoever works for foreign powers shall pay heavily.

He revealed further that Etukuri's story, where he pinned ISO operatives for being behind the murder of the two investors in Pearl of Africa hotel and Sheraton, was aimed at exposing and punching holes in Museveni's number one achievement of comprehensive security in the country.

"Do you think that Museveni is stupid? How can you say in your story that the investor was killed in the room facing state house and you add that the investors were here to see certain security intelligence, with alot of money, and expect to move freely? Museveni can't allow it," Rwomushana noted.

Rwomushana also warned that president Museveni is aware that the massive killing of civilians in greater Masaka, greater Kampala and Entebbe is sponsored by some security officers with an aim of showing the public that Museveni's number one achievement of security is full of holes and compel them to revolt against the regime.

The former state house spy said that Kayihura now is using certain journalists like Etukuri to avoid what he did to Gen Henry Tumukunde the current security minister when he was arresting him.

"I had never seen a happy Kayihura like the one I saw the day he arrested Tumukunde, he can't allow Tumukunde to also do it to him," Rwomushana said.
