There was initial bad blood between Raila and his three other co principals Musalia Mudavadi, Moses Wetangula and Kalonzo Musyoka. Raila's co principals were left disgruntled for being left in the dark regarding a possible truce with Uhuru. ANC party leader Mudavadi however said in a statement that the leaders had decied to support the move for dialogue as a way to end the political stalemate.
"Following a briefing by Raila Odinga on the talks between him and the President, the summit registers its appreciation on the opening of the doors for constructive dialogue as initiated by the two leaders and the framework for and consequent steps to be taken to address the issues of national concern," said Mudavadi while reading a brief statement on behalf of the NASA co-principals.

Things were however looking bleak earlier in day when Raila's spokesperson Dennis Onyango told media that the NASA leader was not aware of any summit.

A number of significant developments have occured barely 48 hours after Uhuru and Raila announced before Kenyans that they would be willing to work out a solution for the political standoff.
NASA strategist David Ndii announced the suspension of the People's Assembly, and at the same time, NASA legislators had their security detail reinstated. Mudavadi and the rest of the co-principals have now made it clear that while they were left in the dark about Raila's meeting with Uhuru, they were fully behind constructive dialogue
