{UAH} Gary Cohn to Leave White House as White Chaos continues

Gary Cohn, the director of the U.S. National Economic Council, is leaving his post in the Trump administration, Bloomberg News reports.

"Gary has been my chief economic advisor and did a superb job in driving our agenda, helping to deliver historic tax cuts and reforms and unleashing the American economy once again," President Trump says in a statement. "He is a rare talent, and I thank him for his dedicated service to the American people

Cohn, who was COO and president of Goldman Sachs before joining the administration, was speculated to leave as recently as January; Cohn had criticized Trump last year after the president said there were some "very fine people" among the white supremacists protesting in Charlottesville, Va.
