The corpses of the slain opposition supporters shot dead by the UPDF today in Bugiri Municipality in the run-up to the parliamentary elections this Friday. 
With the NRM candidate a distant third in opinion, the government has resorted to intimidation, arrest and outright killing of the voters who can't be cowed down by brutal force.
At least twenty seven opposition campaigners were arrested last night by the security forces and their whereabouts ain't known till now. 
The Bugiri Municipality MP seat is up for grabs by either Hon Asuman Basalirwa of Jeema who is enjoying the support of the Democratic Party and Bobby Wine while FDC's Susan Namatenda is bouyed by Dr Kizza Besigye, Nandala Mafabi and other top honchos.
The polls are slated for the repeat of the recent polls in Rukungiri District where NRM suffered a humiliating defeat despite excessive use of force and cash worth sh5bn that only yielded hot air! #DeathTrapInBugiri;
