{UAH} Brutality on Bobi Wine reminds me of Acholi torture!

Brutality on Bobi Wine reminds me of Acholi torture!

Reading Hon. Bobi Wine's account of the torture he was subjected to barbarically by SFC the Presidential guards, and the narrative from other Ugandans who went through the worse tortures, some who were killed like Hon Abiriga and AIGP Felix, all tell us that something is sick in our country! Awakes ghosts of brutality mated on Northern Ugandans.

Reading the account of heartless brutality mated on Hon. Bobi wine, using pliers to clip his ears, and squeezing his manhood, shooting dead his driver sent goose pimples in my skin and shivers in my spines just a nightmare...

It reminded me of how in 1986 my Aunt was raped, uncles tired in their backs " kandoya", we were called anyanya .

You could literally hear while bones cracking from their chest.

My late grandmother Norah Odoki was beaten so bad that I cried.

Everybody in Acholi was a suspect, leaders were frog matched, youth beaten, killed and imprisoned, a reason for hatred and war in the North yet national Resistance Army and government had the best opportunity of uniting Ugandans but it failed. Gen Tinyefunza led the rain of Terror...

Then the story of Hon Casino Wadri's body guard who has permanent disability with back crashed was tantalizing!

The women who were beaten to near death, raped? Bleeding from private parts!

The moral question is, how, why do we over zealously protect power as if it is about life and death? Leadership is service and we are all Ugandans.
People are taken to court disabled and savaged!

The Chief Justice, Hon. Bart Katurebe said "Why brutalize human being like that? He said those people belong to hospital not court! In any case, he detests inhumanity.

I saw Gen Tumwine and others cautioning Bobi Wine to go slow! Singing revolution song!

They talk of peace brought! But what peace is the SFC protecting; grave yard peace?

Hon Bobi Wine is representing a generational agenda; even if he is brutalized today or killed, another Bobi will come up now! It's no longer about a person but a people in quest for a future.

Hon Bobi wine and our generation; it's sad and my tears haven't dried.

However I must say hatred has been brewed in this country that we need change now; a sober, negotiated and non violent change. But when people are pushed to the wall expect a violent one which might an option.

In the even that leaders do not see brutalized humans and they say it fake news!

This change must involve all Ugandans, women, children, youth and men.

It needs all political leaders, civil society, religious people, NRM and President Museveni.

The level of hatred brewed necessitates that Uganda come together and now.

By the way; Buganda has problems with Obote's people, "us" from the North, we have Problem from North against " Amin's" people of West Nile, Now Uganda has problems with "Museveni's" people; you know who constitute SFC. Remember you said some were in "tears" for you.

But the fact is, emotions knows no reason, a reason for sad event in Rwanda in 1994, a thing we must desist! Yes, don't kill the messenger...and when you do that, you are not far from a dog whose nose is blocked! It dies...

200 Teso tribesmen burnt in train wagons, 300 people killed in Barlonyo one night; in Lukwi and Achol pii in Acholi, hundreds killed just in a night; heads, arms boiled in pots!

Ears, noses were cut and there are hundreds of people In Acholi or Lango without nose and ears! Fake? Flabagasts!

Up to now we don't know who did all these, but what we know they are heartless Ugandans!

While Kony and his LRA refute the killings, we know they did, but again, ironically and paradoxically the NRA/UPDF was watching them do this under their protection.

Why and where was the NRA?
These were so called protected camps. With army detaches just 50-100 meters away.

Over 30.000 children were abducted by LRA and made sex slaves! Over 1.8 million people in Acholi were to live in this death trap camp like in Lango and Teso.

Up to now the hate is implanted in the Northern people.

Like in Buganda, even when President Obote died, they vowed to burn the body, His handlers made his body to use eastern route for burial.

Uganda is ethnically divided that we need a national dialogue for reconciliation now and have a national government.

Imagine, a Muganda reading how their son, brother, father, relative Yasin killed, Bobi Wine Hon Kyagulanyi or Hon Zaake tortured barbarically.

Imagine listening to their brutality escapade.

How is Kabaka feeling now, if me an Acholi shaded tears! The account of people allegedly tortured and killed the similar way by the Obote government troop's casts questions in our hearts and the northern extinction war; that almost swept the entire region.

Yes; these are bitter truth; the law is there; law breakers are there; government of NRM seems invincible; the President has the strongest army; but at the end, we are all mortals.

Generation come and goes; let them wake up; we are at across road; we can do better than these.

Look; it's going to be dialogue or bloodletting revolution because these can't go on like that.

But if President Museveni chooses adamancy; and opposition do not insist on dialogue; and all the stake holders; then we will all be condemned by history and proven wrong by time.
