Acting IEBC Finance Director Agatha Wahome together with suspended CEO Ezra Chiloba's personal assistant Abednego Ominde were on Thursday arrested for trying to sneak out files from the agency.

According to the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission chairman Wafula Chebukati, the two were arrested as they tried to make away with 14 files from the Finance and Procurement departments.

"Yes, I can confirm that the said individual who is a PA to the suspended CEO was nabbed at the basement parking with the files. I don't want to speculate on the motive but you can tell," said Chebukati.

"The Nairobi area DCIO is handling the matter."
