Archbishop John Sentamu has been criticised for his silence on the "Ugandan government atrocities" yet he spoke against ex Zimbabwean President Mugabe's abuse.

Uganda People's Congress (UPC) UK Representative Joseph Ochieno (speaking in attached video clip) called out Archbishop Sentamu (the Ugandan number 2 leader of the Church of England) for his continued silence against the atrocities of the current regime for example the placement of a third of the people's of Northern Uganda in concentration camps, during the darks days of the Lord's Resistance Army (LRA) attacks.

Archbishop Sentamu was criticised too for his silence on the current brutality meted on Ugandans by the army, a government institution.

Ochiengo made the remarks at the Inter-Party and Concerned Ugandans conference that took place at Beckton Community Centre in East London last Sunday (September 23rd 2018).

The speakers comprised UK Ugandan representatives of the FDC (Prince Dickson Wasajja) and Jimmy Kisekka (FDC UK Secretary General), JEEMA (Rashid Kasato), Josephine Apire (independent opposition member and member of the Uganda Sustainable Development Initiative) and Charles Mugaga (DP).

Bobi Wine the leader of the People Power movement and FDC's Party President Patrick Amuriat addressed attendees by live stream.

The conference's theme was Reclaiming Our Country, the Way Forward.
