Frank Gashumba Beats Up Daughter Sheila to Near Coma, Dragged to Police
NTV the Beat presenter, Sheila Gashumba was today rescued by Police in Kabalagala after her father, Frank Gashumba beat her to pulp and locked her in her room for over 12 hours.
According to crime website Spy Reports, Sheila Gashumba came back home on Saturday night drunk af and in the company of her fellow high friends.
The drunk friends started abusing Frank Gashumba for mistreating his own daughter which angered the self-styled city motivational speaker before he beat her and locked her inside her room.
A source at Kabalagala police told said that Monday morning, Sheila Gashumba called her mother, Tinah Mukuza that she was dying in the house after her dad locked her up and yet she was supposed to go to work at NTV the Beat program.
Her mother rushed to Kabalaga police and reported a case which prompted police to rush and rescue Sheila from her room turned a cell.
Frank Gashumba was in hiding by press time.
Sheila who was taken to Kabalagala police station to record a statement. She told police that she did not want issues to go to the media and offered to forgive her father.
When contacted, C/ASP Luke Oweyesigire the spokesperson Kampala metropolitan police confirmed the incident.
It is also indicated that Mwalimungu has of recent been bitter with her daughter and barely talk to each other after she tried to leave home and start a new life something the Frank objected.
"Sheila requested her father to allow her leave home and start her own life since she's now 22 years old and working. Sheila says she's able to take care of herself now but the dad objected." A friend to Sheila told Campus Bee
Matters were worsened after Sheila went to Dubai without the consent of her dad.
