In the Holocaust 0.18% of the world's population were killed.
In the Crusades 0.75% of the world's population were killed.
The word "Crusade" is used everywhere positively. Try using the word "Holocaust" in any way other than the Jewish Holocaust of WWII and see what happens. It's bad enough that there are a certain people in the world who think their lives matter more than others, but it's worse that they've hoodwinked the strongest nations on earth to enforce that.
According to the data at the time, there were roughly 17-18 mm Jews worldwide, and about 9mm living in Europe. and I believe world Jewry reached their peak in 1939 at the numbers described. But the point is that most Jews, even marginally, lived outside of Europe.
The Crusades were an unprecedented invasion by a European confederacy of nations resulting in mass slaughter of innocent people. The Crusades involved far more brutality than the Holocaust as, in the case of the Siege of Ma`arrat al-Nu`man, they even ATE the Muslims in a cannibalistic madness.
