Owner and Sacco of bus that killed 50 in Kericho to face action, says IG Boinnet

The owner of the bus that killed 50 passengers on Wednesday morning at Fort Ternan in Kericho will face action, Inspector General of Police Joseph Boinnet has said.
Boinnet further said action will be extended to the sacco which the bus belongs.
Reports indicates that the bus was overloaded and speeding when the accident occurred on the Kisumu-Muhoroni highway, leaving 50 dead and scores injured.
According to police, the bus, which was heading to Kisumu from Nairobi, hit a guard rail before rolling several times down the valley.
Kericho County Police Commander James Mogera said the deceased include 31 men, 12 women and seven children.
At least seven survivors were rushed to Fort Ternan dispensary and Muhoroni Sub County Hospital.
