Islamists Do Here What They'd Never Do at Home

First take a quick look at this video:

 

Seems pretty innocuous, even though you may not understand what these folks are saying?

Well, as you can tell from the passing red bus, they are in London. The folks in the suits and their entourage are Egyptian lawmakers on an official visit to the UK. The people confronting them on the street pretty aggressively are members of the Muslim Brotherhood. The Brotherhood is outlawed in Egypt and is also designated a terror organization in a variety of countries including Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Russia and Kazakhstan.

What we need to do, is ban the Muslim Brotherhood in the U.S. You can help by writing to your elected officials.

Had these protesters approached the MPs in this manner on the streets of Cairo, they would have been hauled off to the nearest police station and quite possibly incarcerated in a less than savory jail. As a result, Brotherhood members carry out their work more successfully overseas.

On the one hand, you may be feeling a degree of sympathy for these activists who are using freedom of speech laws in the UK to legitimately carry out their work. On the other, you should perhaps be saying to yourself, "If the Egyptian authorities don't stand for this organization, then why should we?" Or, "How come the Brothers are designated terrorists in the Middle East and former Soviet bloc, yet in the United States, Canada and Europe they are free to continue their nefarious work?"

Let's look at just three of many examples of the activities of the Muslim Brotherhood, whose raison d'etreis the replacement of our governments with an Islamic caliphate:

• The Muslim Brotherhood effectively declared war on the United States (Arabic link) a year ago:
  

  The Muslim Brotherhood is launching today a solidarity call with all Palestinian factions and Islamic movements to ignite an uprising throughout the Islamic world against the Zionist occupation and the American administration in support of the occupation and against the rights and freedoms of the peoples.

• A prominent Muslim leader in the United Kingdom with links to the Muslim Brotherhood estimates that half of the mosques in the West were founded by Brotherhood members. The estimate was made by Mohamed Ashmawey, CEO of London-based Islamic Relief Worldwide, the world's largest Muslim charity. While the establishment of mosques is an absolute right as we recognize freedom of religion, we cannot allow mosques to be created in the West by those that seek to overthrow democracies. The Brotherhood presents itself a moderate organization, but it supports violent jihad and is the parent organization of Hamas.
• Muslim-Brotherhood-linked groups like the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) were implicated in terror funding, CAIR was founded by members of the Islamic Association of Palestine, a group described by the Anti-Defamation League as "a Hamas affiliated anti-Semitic propaganda organization." CAIR was listed as an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation trial, the largest terrorism financing trial in American history. On July 1, 2009, U.S. District Court Judge Jorge Solis upheld CAIR's designation as an unindicted co-conspirator because of "ample evidence" linking it to Hamas. As a result of this evidence, the FBI deemed CAIR was not "an appropriate liaison partner" and severed all ties.
