CAN WE REWRITE OUR HISTORY?
Can we rewrite and reverse our history and return to pre colonial nation states of Buganda, Bunyoro, Nkore, Igara, Shema, Buhweju, Mbororo, Rujumbura etc? Should we do away with colonial creations like Acholi, Lango, Busoga, Teso, which each never existed as one political unit? What about reclaiming territories like western Kenya, Southern Sudan, Kagera Region and Bulega on western shores of Lake Albert we lost to Kenya, South Sudan, Tanzania and DR Congo respectively? Can we surrender Kigezi to Rwanda and West Nile to DR Congo? If not why do we encourage cracks in present kingdoms and regions like Kooki , Buluuli and Bugerere in Buganda? God willing, l shall be one on the panel of analysts on Radio Sapientia tonight from 07.00 to 09.00 pm. Stay tuned.
