{UAH} Three more arrested in search of abducted Italian volunteer

Edmund,

Any news about this Italian aid worker? I really feel for her and her family. She must now be a sex slave in the hands of the muslim barbarians. Really sad.

Inspector general of police, Joseph Boinnet, says three more suspects have been arrested in connection with the kidnapping of an Italian volunteer at Chakama in Kilifi County on Tuesday.

Speaking Friday morning when he met stakeholders in the Governance, Justice, Law, and Order sector, the inspector general said the three suspects have provided police with crucial information to assist in the on-going operation to trace and rescue the Italian volunteer.

Boinnet expressed optimism that police will rescue her in the shortest time possible.

Meanwhile, Kilifi county governor Amason Kingi Friday visited Chakama, the scene of the attack and assured the Italian community and the tourists that the unfortunate attack was an isolated incident.

Five people were injured during the raid at Chakama.

The kidnapped volunteer was attached to Africa Milele Onlus, an NGO operating in the area.

The motive of the attack remained unclear although some officials suggested it was robbery.

On Thursday, Police officers arrested 14 suspects in relation to the attack.

Police says they have critical information in relation to the kidnap and are pursuing other suspects who are believed to be holding the aid worker.

Also two motorcycles were recovered which were used by the attackers.

A contingent of security personnel comprising officers from KDF, Police, GSU, KWS and Administration Police together with Special Forces have been tracking the suspects believed to be hiding in the forest
