Chairman Mao's lasting legacy to the oppressed peoples of the world is this famous clarion call to war he issued to the Chinese peasants at the start of the Chinese Civil War that led to the total victory of his Communist Party and the overthrow of bureaucrat capitalism and landlord rule: He said
"WITHOUT A PEOPLES' ARMY, THE PEOPLE HAVE NOTHING".
Ugandans will do well to heed this advice, because without a peoples army, they have absolutely nothing.
