{UAH} #SaveRahaf: UN urges Australia to grant Saudi runaway teenager asylum
The Hijab Is A Distant Memory Now For Rahaf, But Will Her Defiance And Extraordinary Courage Change The Oppressive, Life Denying Culture In Muslim Societies? In My Many Years Of Campaigning For Human Rights, This #SaveRahaf" Campaign is The Only One That Has Ended Very Well For Me. With All The Others, Even When We Saved Sudanese Teenager Noura Hussein Who Was To Be Hanged For Killing An Abusive Thug Her Parents Had Forced On Her As A Husband, I Did Not Feel Any Pleasure Or Exhilaration- Only An Extreme Sadness That The Girl Had To Be Put Through That Horrible Ordeal. This Time I Feel Quietly Pleased With Myself. All Round, It Is A Very Satisfactory Outcome. I Am very Happy For Rahaf. She Has Struck A Mighty Blow For Freedom.
