Bruce McArthur has pleaded guilty to eight counts of first-degree murder. The 67-year-old landscaper was charged in the killings of Soroush Mahmudi, Skandaraj Navaratnam, Abdulbasir Faizi, Kirushna Kanagaratnam, Selim Esen, Andrew Kinsman, Majeed Kayhan, and Dean Lisowick. They were all Gays, thus there is a reasoning that he was out to go after all Gays. With this plea the families have been saved from the agony of the hearing of the case.

He was arrested in January of 2018, and today he is waiting for the sentencing.
