I sincerely believe that we need to change katiba and declare that anyone that holds interest in private business should be barred from holding public office, or if they hold power, every policy decision they make should be made public, so that they do not confer benefit to the private business.

I was just thinking about Kibaki and why he succeeded in turning around our economy that was in ruins. And discovered that Kibaki had very little interest in private business. Members of his family were not heavily involved in private business.

So, Kibaki era had very little conflict of interest cases. In fact, the only mega scandal that hit Kibaki era was the Sale of Railway, and interestingly enough, it is a Private Investment Club that he was involved in.

Now, the current leadership is all about conflict of interest.

For instance policy decisions have been made to favor certain Milk Companies. In addition in the Media, policy decisions have been made to favor five or six Media houses by giving them Government Advertising and denying all others.

If you follow, you will find that very powerful forces are behind the policy decisions.

Now come to Sugar Industry. A leading political figure in Nyanza and Western is a key player in the Sugar Industry, and is leading the hurried privatisation of the Sugar Factories. Already billionaire sugar importers who were involved in illegal importation are lining up to buy the Sugar Factories. Yet all MPs, Governors are silent.

But my main issue today is about William Ruto and the Insurance Industry.

William Ruto is involved in the Insurance Industry. Everyone knows about that. Already there are several queries how his Insurance Firm got several lucrative tenders.

But the elephant in the room is the huge sh 14 billion Payment made as Insurance for the two Dams in Elgeyo Marakwet worth 80 billion.

Read carefully.... William Ruto maneuvered payment of sh 14 billion to Insure Projects worth 80 Billion.

Whereas normal Insurance payments are about 1.5 to 2 %, William Ruto maneuvered payment of 17% as Insurance.

Get it?

That is where the Scandal is.

That is where the Investigators have held him by the balls.

That is why he wants to create narrative that it was only 7 billion.

He wants everyone to focus on the 7 billion and forget the 14 billion.

But Kinoti and Haji have refused to get distracted.

That is why the Ruto camp is panicking. That is why they want to focus on fake stories and try divert attention to Wanjigi and Raila.

Yes, Raila and  Wanjigi are corrupt. Very corrupt.

But they did not steal Dam Money. Raila has stolen, and stolen big time. But this Dam thing is Ruto, Ruto and Ruto.

Questions on how decisions were made to pay Insurance of 14 billion for a 80 billion project need to be answered.

That is what is required.

Trying to call other people as corrupt, will not change it.

How was the decision to pay 14 billion as Insurance made? What links are there between the firms paid and William Ruto?

Who are the go betweens?

These are the questions that need answers. And Kinoti is not intimidated.

The scandal in the Dam is about Insurance.
