Sensitize people ,mobilize them ,organize them and lead them into action, from the front ,to victories , then you will naturally and automatically become the No. 1 leader.
You just can not stay in Kampala and declare yourself the leader and try to blackmail and force everybody to worship you. That will never work any where in the world .
Leadership is earned. It is not given out on a silver plate .
Just my thoughts .
