{UAH} MY BESIGYE-CBS-INTERVIEW REVIEW
MY BESIGYE-CBS-INTERVIEW REVIEW:
I've just finished watching Besigye's interview today on CBS fm, and have to say it was an absolute pleasure.Alhamdulillah I've been following different Uganda politicians hosted on radios and TVs, and personally would rate Besigye as one of the best. Why?
Firstly, some politicians like to cut corners with callers, such that they end up tactically dodging questions. For instance, Mr.Museveni does this using his sense of humour,to divert the caller/moderator to something else. Not so with Besigye--he answers a question with an approriate answer, and in this specific interview- all basis were covered. Yes, some questions to him by Medi Nsereko were a bit annoying, but he controlled himself with a smile and slight movements(up and down) around the chair.
Secondly, going above and beyond to help the listeners get the best political experience. Again, many politicians are not too bothered about explaining to the young listeners about the history of Uganda, where we have been and where we are present.Besigye tries his best to remind people of how powerless they have been since independence, and how they must take power back from the guns. He made it clear that he, infact, didnt want to stand in the 2016 elections, for obvious reasons.
Lastly, he treats all opposition supporters as a family, not customers. That's why he asked all his supporters to stop abusing all those they don't agree with politically, including Bobi's PEOPLE POWER. I believe we will achieve something if Bobi reciprocates this message, and sends out a similar message.Besigye also called for a debate or a conference of all opposition leaders to sort out their disagreements, and I think, that can go down as Super, super leadership.
Just to clarify, I receive no remuneration from Besigye, or anybody in Uganda politics, and this review is on my own accord. I just want people to choose the best when they are thinking of this political journey of a lifetime.Byebyo ebyange!
